With a muscle issue, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is questionable for tonight’s Premier League match against Manchester City.

The Ghanaian international has been practicing and is fit to play on Tuesday against the league’s best club at the Emirates Stadium.

Unfortunately, he recently got hurt and will have to sit this one out. Although the injury does not appear to be life-threatening, it is nevertheless a major blow to Arsenal just before a game that might determine the direction of their season.

For Arsenal, Partey, a 29-year-old defender, has been a mainstay in 18 of the team’s 21 league games this year.

Joining the likes of Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, and Gabriel Jesus on the long list of injured players. Just now, the club revealed that midfielder Mohamed Elneny will not be returning. In the meanwhile, in January, Crystal Palace received a loan from the club and played host to Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Since Mikel Arteta needed a replacement, he went out and got Jorginho from Chelsea.

Since January 22nd, the Gunners haven’t won the Premier League (when they defeated Manchester United by a score of 3-2). With a victory, Manchester City would overtake Arteta’s team for first place in the league despite having played one more game.
