The passing of Brandon Smiley, the eldest son of comedian Rickey Smiley, has left everyone in the world in a state of profound sorrow. On the 29th of January, 2021, Rickey Smiley broke the heartbreaking news to his followers on social media that Brandon had passed away. Many people are still reeling from the suddenness and unexpectedness of the loss.

Brandon’s birthday was in 1988, making his current age 32 years. In recent times, he had been making his home in Houston, Texas, which is also where he had been working as an engineer. 2011 was the year that he received his bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in the field of mechanical engineering.

Brandon was a passionate fan of music, particularly jazz and classical, and he had a deep respect for the artists who created these genres’ works. He was a talented musician in his own right and would frequently perform on the piano, guitar, and bass. In addition to his interest in music, Brandon was also passionate about playing video games, a hobby that he and his father both liked.

Brandon was a devoted son, brother, and friend who never abandoned the people he cared about most in the world. He was the type of person that would help anyone in need and could never fail to crack a smile no matter what was going on. In addition to being an excellent listener, you could always count on him to give an ear and provide his counsel when it was required.

Everyone who knew and loved Brandon will grieve his passing in a profound way. His demise is a terrible tragedy not only for the Smiley family but also for everybody who had the privilege of calling him a friend. I pray that he finds eternal rest.
